Our Landhaus Gällareböke was built more than 120 years ago from wood and is situated on the edge of a small settlement directly on a forest path, which invites to small hikes.

On the front you will find a small veranda – here you can enjoy the peace and quiet with a glass of wine. On the upper floor there is a small balcony. In the inner courtyard there is a barbecue and a Swedish bathing tub for 4 persons , which is heated with wood and brings a lot of fun.

The large living and dining kitchen has just been modernised. In the living room there is an old open fireplace, which unfolds its very own atmosphere especially in the cold season in the evening. In the upper floor there is another living room with TV. Altogether the old country house of 1875 in offers 4 bedrooms place for 8 persons. In a sleep area is a bunk bed for 2 persons.

This old småländische Landhaus reflects the simplicity, in addition, romance from long past times again. Nevertheless, we have managed to create every modern comfort that you will not want for.

Indoor swimming pool, bath tub and modern equipment

To our house belongs a separate “bath”-house with private, own, 24 m² heated indoor swimming pool and sauna, as well as an outside terrace. Trampoline and swing for the children, garden furniture and loungers available.

3 WC and 2 bathrooms as well as much place with altogether 10,000 m ² land belong to it. Nearby you will find lakes and rivers for swimming or fishing. A Elch-Safaripark is only 10 km away. But also otherwise much game and animal life roams through the free nature. From the end of summer they should collect berries and mushrooms. For lovers of winter sports, the Vallaasen ski area is only 62 km away.

Here you can reach our country house from Malmö in one and a half hours, from Berlin in 7 hours and from Hamburg in 6 hours driving time. You can reach the nearest villages Timsfors and Markaryd in a few minutes.

  • Self-catering holidays

    Holidays in our cottages is holiday for self-catering. All houses are fully equipped for self-catering of the appropriate number of people.

  • Minimum period of your booking

    All houses can be booked in general Saturday-Saturday for 1 week.

  • Exceptions minimum booking (on request)

    Exceptions are made for some houses in the early and late season.

  • Prices

    The prices are always to be understood as pure rental prices. In most cases, there is the final cleaning, energy costs according to consumption. Rental of bed linen.

  • Booking fees

    No booking fees will be charged.

  • Bookings in France & Hungary

    For our houses in Hungary and France all additional costs are already included in the price. In Hungary only a small visitor’s tax is charged locally.

  • Pets

    There are no extra costs for pets, as far as 1-2 pets are concerned. From the 3rd pet, there are costs of 50 Euro per stay.

  • Billing energy & cleaning costs

    The billing for final cleaning, energy costs, etc. is always carried out on site at the handover. Payment will be made on arrival, in the local currency.

  • Deposit

    A deposit of 1,000 Euro is charged for each house – castle 1,000 Euro – country house 200 Euro. This deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period or deducted from the consumption costs.
